Question :-

what must be subtracted from the ( x⁴+2x³-2x²+ 4x+6) so the by factor ttheorom

Solution :-

let. p (x) = x⁴+2x³-2x²+4x+6

and. g(x) = x ²+2x-3

Dividing p(x) by g (x )

Now , if we subtract 2x+9 from the p(x) then remainder will be zero

  • hence , 2x+9 should be subtracted from x⁴+2x³-2x²+4x+6 so that x²+2x+3 exactly divides .
