1. Since 1980s, governments across Asia and Africa have begun to observe that scientific theory technique has created conflicts all over the world. 

2. Conservation of forests rather than collecting timber has become a more important goal and the government has recognized that in order to meet this goal, support and cooperation from people residing near the forests is necessary. 

3. In India, dense forests have survived only because villages protected them as sacred and villagers even took turn in doing so instead of leaving the forests under the control of forest officials.
