Suppose number added be y
-7/12+y=5/6
Y=5/6+7/12
Taking LCM of denominators we get 12 and solving addition of fractions we get
Y=17/12 i hope this helps u

let us assume the number to be'x'.
-7/12 + x = 5/6
x= 5/6 - (-7/12)
= 5/6 + 7/12
= 10/12 + 7/12
= 17/12
ANS= 17/12
-7/12 + x = 5/6
x= 5/6 - (-7/12)
= 5/6 + 7/12
= 10/12 + 7/12
= 17/12
ANS= 17/12
