Hey user

Here is your answer

let \:  the \: x \: be \: added \\ \\  \frac{7 + x}{13 + x}  =   \frac{2}{3}  \\  \\  = >  (7 + x)3 = (13 + x)2 \\  \\  = >  21 + 3x = 26 + 2x \\  \\ =  > 3x - 2x = 26 - 21 \\  \\  =  > x = 5

thank you.

let x should be added to each side (denominator and numerator) of 7:13
new Ratio will be (7+x):(13+x)
But given new Ratio are 2:3
So,
(7+x)/(13+x)= 2/3

→ 3*(7+x) = 2*(13+x)

→21+3x = 26 +2x

→ 3x - 2x =5

→ x=5.
