x= -3/4
y= 5/6
another no. =z
Now , x-z=y
-3/4 - z = 5/6
z= -3/4 - 5/6
z= -19/12

So answers is -19/12

Let x be the number

-3/4-x=5/6

x=-3/4-5/6

Take LCM,

LCM is 12

x=-3/4×3/3-5/6×2/2

x=-9/12-10/12

x=(-9-10)/12

x=-19/12

the required number is -19/12

-19/12 should be subtracted from -3/4 to get 5/6

hope it helps
