Answer:

The designs on pots included geometric, miscellaneous and naturalistic patterns like Faunal, floral and human motifs. Straight, zigzag or wavy lines, squares, loops, lozenge, triangles, chevron, dots and circles are all parts of the included designs. Oblique strokes, vertical lines, cross- hatching, lattice and ladder shapes have been found. Curvilinear and distinct angular forms also were fairly popular. Glazed, plain or coloured pottery could be chosen and the colours included brown, red, orange, cream and black.

Answer:

Many decorative patterns were found on those potteries such as geometrical patterns, squares, circles, triangles and animal figures, birds snakes and fishes. These patterns were very common on harappan potteries otherwise tree patterns were prevailing like peepal leaves.
