what precautions are to be taken while pouring water on fire

the water should be clean it should not have any chemical in it otherwise fire will spread more .it should not be poured on the electrical equipment that can catch fire and when thrown on oil or other things it should be thrown with pressure to cut out the oxygen supply .

2. do not put water on Fire caused by electricity water containing dissolved salts is a good conductor of electricity.
3. do not for water on why do to petrol and oil because water is more denser than oil and petrol.
