Few Precautions are :

• Too many appliances should not be used at the same time.

• Faulty appliances should not be connected in the circuit.

• Too many appliances should never be connected to a single socket.

• Two separate circuits should be used, one of 5A current rating for bulbs, fans, tubes etc. and the other of 15 A current rating for appliances with higher current ratings such as air coolers, electric iron, electric stove etc.

• A fuse of appropriate current rating should be used with the electric circuit.
