Avoid danger spots near windows, hanging objects, mirrors, or tall furniture. Hold the position until the ground stops shaking and it is safe to move. If you are outside, get into the open, away from buildings, power lines and trees. Be alert for falling rock and other debris that could be loosened by the earthquake.

The precaution that we should take to protect ourselves during an earthquake if we are inside the house are :

If you are on a bed and earthquake occurs , do not move until shaking stops. Protect your head with a couch.

We should keep our cool and immediately protect our body by hiding ourselves under a table or any protective thing.
3)
We must not use lift.
4)
