Here is your answer:-
Sharp needle has a high pressure which means it applies high force on the area where it is pushed .
We know that,
Pressure = Force / Area.
Pressure can be defined as force per unit area.

Here we can see that,
(1)When force will increase the pressure will increase.
(2) When area will increase , the pressure will decrease.
From this we can say that,
(1) Pressure is directly proportional to the force.
(2) Pressure is indirectly proportional ,i.e if one quantity will increase the other will increase, to the area of the surface.

This is the reason why a sharp needle applies high pressure on the surface being pushed.
(Because here the force is large and it is acting on very less area.)
