\huge{\bold{SOLUTION:-}}

◀ Let the market price of the article be Rs. 'a'

◀ Given:

→ Discount Percentage = 26%

then,

Note: → Selling price (SP) = market  price (MP) - discount (D)

◀ Now, Using Formula!

→ Selling price (SP) = market  price (MP) - discount (D)

◀ Selling price = X - 26% of x

◀ Selling price = x-26/100x

•°• Selling price = x-13/50x

→ Selling price = 50x-13x/50

•°• Selling price = 37x/50

Now, → According to the Question Statement!

Gain Percentage = 100+ 12 => 112

•°• Cost Price will be => 100/112 × 37x/50

•°• → 2/112 × 37x/1

◀ 1/56 × 37x/1

→ 37x/56

Now, Cost Given = 2200

•°• 37x/56 = 2200

→ 37x= 2200× 56

→ x = 2200×56/37

→ 123,200/37

→ 3329.72

Hence, Required Price will be → 3329.72
