Principal = 100×SI/R×T

SI = ₹900
R = 10% p.a.
T = 6 years

♦ Principal
= 100×SI/R×T
= ₹ 100×900/10×6
= ₹ 90,000/60
= ₹ 1,500

♢ Principal = ₹ 1,500

[ you can also find it by equation ]

Let the principal be ₹ x

A.T.Q.

S.I. = P×R×T/100

=> 900 = x×10×6/100
=> 90000 = 60x
=> 90000/60 = x
=> 1,500 = x

♢ Principal = ₹ x = ₹ 1,500
