Nick Middleton faced many difficulties during his journey to Mount Kailash. Extreme cold weather, poor roads, lack of proper transport, boarding and lodging facilities. At Darchen he fell severely ill because of cold and altitude. He had difficulty in breathing. The previous night he had not been able to sleep because of the blocked nostrils. Then Tsetan, in whose car he was travelling had to leave him. He was left alone at Darchen. He realized he was early. He had to wait. However, he met Norbu with whom he completed his Kora.

Scratch Middleton confronted numerous troubles amid his adventure to Mount Kailash.

Outrageous virus climate, poor streets, absence of appropriate transport, boarding and cabin offices.

At Darchen he fell extremely sick in view of cold and elevation.

He experienced issues in relaxing.

The earlier night he had not possessed the capacity to rest in view of the blocked nostrils.

At that point Tsetan, in whose vehicle he was venturing out needed to abandon him.
