inadequate wages - government has fixed the minimum wages at Rs 60 day but they don't usually get this amount of money.

availability of labour - too much availability of labour forces the labourers to work on lower wages.

duration of employment - labourers are sometimes employed on the daily wages and sometimes for the whole year. they don't have surety of job.

Farm labourers come either from landless families or families cultivating small plots of land. Unlike farmers, farm labourers do not have a right over the crops grown on the land. Instead they are paid wages by the farmer for whom they work. Wages can be in cash or in crops.
