(ii) They do not have a right over the crops grown on the land.
(iii) They got wages in cash or in kind e.g. crop.

• Farming and agricultural activities in a farm is seasonal,and runs for half a year.
• Indian farming primarily depends on mansoon (change in the direction of winds) rainfall and it has severe impact on the employment of farm labourers.
• Wages of farm labourers are not uniform throughout the country and fluctuating seasonally and yearly.
• Lack of required skills set to get employment in emerging sectors economy like service sector, this lack of skills can be attributed to poverty, poor education , and awareness.
• Disguised unemployment is also a major cause of concern for policymakers of India in agriculture sector.
