2. Uncovered drains provide exposure to agrochemical pesticides and certain other harmful chemicals that give rise to skin and respiratory problems when they pollute the groundwater and the surrounding air.  
3. The drains are more often found to deteriorate the roads and the local vegetation
4. Uncovered drains are responsible for ruining the neighboring houses because of the over logged saturated soil and water.
