The power of the Government, by the constitution of India, has been divided into the Legislative, Executive and Judiciary. The government has the power to make laws, however, if it doesn't abide by the constitution then it can be declared as a bill once again. The power of declaring a law unconstitutional is with the judiciary. Overall, the government's powers are LIMITED by the constitution
