On heating allylic ether of phenol rearrangement takes place allyl phenyl ether is a clear & yellow (slightly) liquid that is stable under normal temperature and pressure. it is a good / starting reacting fro claisen rearrangement . due to its structure it can carry out the rearrangement by being in the less optimal structure when the compound appears to be sterically hindered.
