The present IT sector requires the knowledge of C#, C++, JAVA, HTML, SQL and CSS.
C++ and JAVA is used in the front end, for making programs interfaces.
HTML and CSS is used to embed those softwares on the WorldWideWeb.
SQL is used in the database management, the back end.
More are there like RUBY and Python which are not used much but are more efficient than any of the above mentioned languages.
Bangalore is called the IT sector of India so maybe you should try there. Or you may start by working with some small companies being run by any indivisual or a small group.
