The provision is made on the right to Social Justice in present constitution
- Only when there is political and economic justice can social justice be achieved. Articles 14 and 15 of the Indian Constitution's Part III contain provisions relating to equality that uphold all three types of justice. A 103rd constitutional amendment was passed in 2019 as well to guarantee economic justice for everybody.
- Equal treatment of all residents without social discrimination based on caste, colour, race, religion, sex, and other factors is referred to as social justice. It denotes the absence of privileges granted to any one group within society and a betterment in the conditions of women, SCs, STs, and OBCs.
- Social justice is entrenched in every article of the Indian Constitution. This has made it easier for judges and legislators to interpret the law in a way that promotes social justice. The pursuit of social justice and equality go hand in hand. In the preamble, social justice and equality are mentioned.
- It is the responsibility of the state to create an egalitarian society through its executive and legislative branches: According to Article 39 A (the 42nd Amendment), states must work to ensure that their citizens receive equal justice and free legal representation. According to Article 42, the state must take steps to provide fair and humane conditions.
