Evelyn Glennie - The Wonder Girl

The character I liked most in Evelyn was her self- determination even though she was deaf. She tried hard not to show that she was deaf outside. She had discouragements from all sides including her teachers but she never gave up. She tried hard and practiced well until she became a world famous musician.

The percussionist Ron Forbes was a type of inspiration for her. He made her feel the music- a quality that is not possessed by many musicians. This feeling made a great impact on her life. Thus self- determination, self- respect and the will-power made her a great musician.

These are some the qualities I like in Evelyn. Even though she faced a lot of difficulties, she never gave up and went on to become a wonderful musician who can play various musical instruments.
