The Mughal kings were quite powerful and managed to extend their influence to not only other kings but empires as well. Here’s why:
1. Bloodline. The Mughals descended from Timur the Great and Genghis Khan. Naturally, the blood of two fierce and strong warriors ran through them.
2. Advanced techniques. The Mughals, especially the first ruler Babūr had developed advanced combat techniques which ofc helped him against him Uzbek enemy, Shaibani Khan. Same with Akbar & Shah Jahan.
3. Wealth. Since the Mughals had a great empire they had a lot of wealth.
4. Army and Firepower. A Mughal hunting expedition itself contained 5000 men. Imagine how much an army would. Also, the Mughals had access to advanced firepower - like muskets and rifles all thanks to their ties with the Sultans of the Ottoman Empire of Turkey.
5. Administration and Creativity. The Mughal kings devised an articulate system of administering their empire. This was especially exploited by Akbar, which of course you must’ve read in your History book. Also, the Mughals were creative in their own ways. For example, Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal with white marble and at that position because of its juxtaposition with the Sun.
