the 3 growth promoters in plants are auxins, gibberellins, cytokinin.

smriti6s: what about there functions
sowmiya35: auxins are usually synrhesised in the tips if the shoots. they help the plane to grow longer when they are placed facing a light source they show a bending towards it. it is because auxins diffuses to the shady side of the leaf making the plant to grow longer.
sowmiya35: gibberellins help in the growth of stem and the flower.
sowmiya35: cytokinin helps in cell division. these hormones are found in fruit and seedsi.e area's of rapid cell division.
sowmiya35: absicic acid is a growth inhibitor. which is responsible for wilting of leaves.
