th president is the head of the indian republic.the president has the power to amend any provision of the indian constitution.he also has the impeachment power i.e to remove a person if he /she is on grave charges.

THE PRESIDENT IS THE NOMINAL HEAD OF THE COUNTRY.EACH AND EVERY LAW MADE IN THE PARLIAMENT WILL BE IN FORCE ONLY WHEN THE PRESIDENT SIGNS THEM.HE CAN REMOVE THE RULING PARTY IF IT DOESN'T HAVE MAJORITY IN LOK SABHA.
