Mahatma Gandhi introduced Khadi.
When satyagraha was started in Sabarmati Ashram, few handlooms were introduced.
At that time we need someone to teach the weaving of looms.
One after other got trained in weaving at Ashram.
Finally, we are able to manufacture the whole cloth by our own hands, and everyone started to wear handmade handlooms.
