The forest is defined as the the area where plants grow naturally and home of wild animal

it play important role in conservation of  water in these way :-  

1. through  transpiration it remove its excess water and form cloud which leads rain     and increase the water level of area  

2. it decrease the  contact with direct soil leads to conserve water and humus
