- Night Birds (Eg: Owl) : A night bird (owl) can see very well in the night but not during the day. The owl has a large cornea and a large pupil to allow more light in its eye. Also, it has a large number of rods and only a few cones in its retina.
- Kites and Eagles (Day Birds): These birds can see very well during daytime but have decreased vision at night. This is because they have a large number of cone cells and a few rod cells.
