What  role  does  specific  heat  play  in  keeping  a  watermelon  cool  for  a  long  time  after
removing  it  from  a  fridge  on  a  hot  day?

specific heat capacity is the heat needed to raise the temperature of 1kg of a substance by 1*C.in the above statement it clearly states that if the SHC of watermelon is less it cools down quickly,but if its high it cools down slowly.

the specific heat keeps the watermelon cool for a long time because watermelon has more of water content are specific heat of water is more the watermelon is cool from inside
