1. They do not harm the living things
2. They do not take what is not given.
3. They retrain from sexual misconduct.
4. They do not lie or gossip.
5. They do not take intoxicating substances eg drugs or drinks..
6. They live a simple life.
7. They eat the food which others give them.
8. They visit home to home and collect food.
9. taking substantial food after midday (from noon to dawn)
10. They do not dance or sing and listen music.
11. They do not use of garlands, perfume etc.
12. They do not use luxurious beds.
13. They do not accept or hold money, gold or silver.
