Answer:

Multilingualism is the use of more than one language, either by an individual speaker or by a group of speakers. It is believed that multilingual speakers outnumber monolingual speakers in the world's population.[1] More than half of all Europeans claim to speak at least one language other than their mother tongue;[2] but many read and write in one language. Always useful to traders, multilingualism is advantageous for people wanting to participate in globalization and cultural openness.[3] Owing to the ease of access to information facilitated by the Internet, individuals' exposure to multiple languages is becoming increasingly possible. People who speak several languages are also called polyglots.

Multi linguism means there were many languages in our country.and we all are living unitedly with these diversities like multi linguism

There many movement took place in India for a national language. In that DMK fought to make Tamil as national language.but many people speaks hindhi.so ,hindhi is our national language. This was made by Pt.Nehru in 1971 I think.
