The first picture , we can translate into the following equation.

we have,

Table + cat - turtle = 170 cm --------- ( 1 )

The second picture will correspond to the equation

Table - cat + turtle = 130 cm ---------- ( 2 )

So now, from the two equation we need to solve for the height of the table

Adding the two equations

we get,

Table + cat - turtle + Table - cat + turtle = 170 + 130

2 Tables = 170 + 130 ( The two variabli are cancel)

=> 2 Tables = 300

=> 1 Table = 300 ÷ 2 = 150 cm .

=> 1 Table = 150 cm .

Hence the height of the table is 150 cm
