What's the most counterintuitive concept that you have run across in a sci-fi movie/book?

P.S. Have opinions of your own, mortals!

The most counterintuitive concept that I found in a movie was the discovery that time is different for different beings. I learned this concept(kinda) from the movie Interstellar. The protagonist had a daughter who aged more quickly than the protagonist himself. This baffled me and continues to do so. Watch the movie and you will find some more counterintuitive concepts.

So, how am I supposed to know all these theories thoroughly. FYI, this site is for primary and secondary students. Go to physics.stackexchange for questions like ths
