The most counterintuitive concept that I found in a movie was the discovery that time is different for different beings. I learned this concept(kinda) from the movie Interstellar. The protagonist had a daughter who aged more quickly than the protagonist himself. This baffled me and continues to do so. Watch the movie and you will find some more counterintuitive concepts.
I saw few videos on string theory on youtube. But, I never studied it. I am 12th standard. What more can you expect? I am not an University student.
