When there is a turning in the road, the outer side is slightly higher than the inner side of the curve. It is called banking of the road and helps in providing additional centripetal force to the moving object.

when we get a turn on road then we travels on a part of circul where we get a force to center of circul which is MV*2/r
so we bend one side if the road will not higher and lower then it's possible that we may get sleep down.
