lnitially the French army's were welcomed as harbingers of Liberty but the initial in soun ton to hostility because people gradually understood that the new address administrative arrangement did not go hand in hand with political freedom,the four factors which seemed to outweigh the advantage of the administrstive to change are- 1- increased taxation on people 2-strict censorship on printing media and books 3- Forced conscription into the french armied to satisfy its imperialist ambition 4- restriction on freedom.
