• We have to evaluate the above expression by using the given data.

Given data:- x+(-1)=\frac{3}{7} .

To find:- Value of the expression.

Solution:-

• Let assume x to find the missing term.
• Then the result will be the solution for the given linear equation.

By using the transposition method.

we get,

x+(-1)=\frac{3}{7} \\=>x-1=\frac{3}{7} \\=>x=\frac{3}{7}+1\\=>x= \frac{10}{7} .

Hence we will get the equation \frac{10}{7} +(-1)=\frac{3}{7} .
