what should be added to 1/x to make it equal to x^-2​

let \:  a \: should \: be \: added \\ now \\  \frac{1}{x}  + a =  {x}^{ - 2}  \\ a =  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  -  \frac{1}{x}  \\ a =  \frac{1 - x}{ {x}^{2} }  \\ a = (1 - x)( {x}^{ - 2} )
