4 \times \frac{2}{9}  + x = 6 \\ \frac{38}{9}  + x = 6 \\ x = 6 -  \frac{38}{9}  \\  x =  \frac{54 - 38}{9}  \\ x =  \frac{16}{9}

 \frac{16}{9} should \: be \: added \: to \: 4 \times \frac{2}{9}  \\ to \: get \: 6.
