➤ Answer :-

\dashrightarrow \sf \frac{( - 4)}{5} + (x) = \frac{( - 3)}{8} \\

\dashrightarrow \sf (x) = \frac{( - 3)}{8} - \frac{( -4)}{5} \\

LCM of 8 and 5 is 40.

\dashrightarrow \sf \frac{( - 3) \times 5}{8 \times 5} - \frac{( - 4) \times 8}{5 \times 8} \\

\dashrightarrow \sf \frac{( - 15)}{40} - \frac{( - 32)}{40} = \frac{( - 15) - ( - 32)}{40} \\

\dashrightarrow \sf \frac{17}{40} \\

\Huge\therefore \sf\frac{17}{40} \\ should be added to \sf\frac{-4}{5} \\ to get \sf\frac{-3}{8} \\
