Let the required no. add be = x

Then,
According to th' Question :-

- \dfrac {7}{8} + x = \dfrac {5}{9}

x = \dfrac {5}{9} + \dfrac {7}{8}

x = \dfrac {40 + 63}{72}

x = \dfrac {103}{72}

Hence,
The required no. to add = x = \dfrac {103}{72}
