Let x should be added,

According to the question,

2( - \frac{7}{3} ) + x = \frac{3}{7} \\ \\ \\ \\ - \frac{14}{3} + x = \frac{3}{7} \\ \\ \\ \\ x = \frac{3}{7} + \frac{14}{3} \\ \\ \\ \\ x = \frac{9 + 98}{21} \\ \\ \\ x = \frac{107}{21}

Other number is 107/21

I hope this will help you

Heya !!!

Let Y should be added to twice the rational number -7/3 to get 3/7.

Therefore,

2 × (-7/3) + Y = 3/7

-14 /3 + Y = 3/7

-14 + 3Y /3 = 3/7

7 ( -14 + 3Y ) = 9

-98 + 21Y = 9

21Y = 9+98

21Y = 107

Y = 107/21

Hence,

107/21 should be added to twice the rational number -7/3 to get 3/7.
