The number \bold{\frac{113}{35}} should be added to get \bold{\frac{3}{7}}.

Solution:

Now let us take the number that, should be added as X

The question says that X, should be added, to twice the rational number that is -\frac{7}{3} to get \frac{3}{7}.

Now let us multiply 2 to -\frac{7}{3}  we get the value -\frac{14}{3}.

Now adding X to -\frac{14}{3}and equating it with \frac{3}{7}we get,m

-\frac{14}{5}+\mathrm{X}=\frac{3}{7}

X=\frac{113}{35}

The value of X form after solving the equation is \frac{113}{35}

Therefore, the number \frac{113}{35} should be added to get \frac{3}{7}.
