Hey Mate!!!

Here we have,

Let the number which has to be subtracted be x.

Now,

According to the question,

21(1/16) - x = 7(23/25)

First convert the mixed fractions to improper fractions.

Thus, 21(1/16) = 337/16

And, 7(23/25) = 198/25.

Now we have,

337/16 - x = 198/25.

Thus,

337/16 - 198/25 = x.

8425 - 3168 whole upon 400 = x.

= 5257/400.

= 13.1425.

Hope it helps.
