3x²-4y²+5xy+20 to become -x²-y²+6xy+20

let the number be a,
then,

3x²-4y²+5xy+20-a=-x²-y²+6xy+20
                            -a=-x²-3x²-y²+4y²+6xy-5xy+20-20
                            -a=-4x²+3y²+xy
                             a=4x²-3y²-xy

4x²-3y²-xy should be subtracted from 3x²-4y²+5xy+20 to get -x²-y²+6xy+20

                 hope it helps
