Answer:

\huge{\fbox{\fbox{\bigstar{\mathfrak{\red{Answer}}}}}}

first we will make both denominators equal

ok so

7/-8 * 3/3= 21/-24

-13/12 * 2/2= -26/24

let the number be x

-21/24 -x = -26/24

so this is the equation

so we need to solve for x  here

 x=-21/24 +26/24

x= 5/24

ok so the Answer is 5/24

Answer:-

Let x be subtracted from 7 ÷ 24 to get -1 & 12. So we get the following equations

7/24 - x = -1 (i)

7/24 - x = 12 (ii)

From (i) we get x = 7/24 + 1

x = 7 + 24 / 8

x = 31/8

From (ii) we get x = 7/24 - 12

x = 7 - 288 / 24

x = -276/24

x = -69/6
