we know here F = (q1 ×q2)/r^2

one alpha particle has mass 4amu

then it has a charge of 2 (6 ×10^-19)C

now here alpha particle is 2

total charge = 4 (6×10^-19)

6×10^-11 = (4×6 ×10^-19 ×6×10-19)/r^2

6×10^-11 = (144 × 10 ^-38)r^2

r^2 = ( 24× 10^-27 )

r = root 2.4 × 10^-28
