ATQ, let no. must be subtracted = x
so, 3/2 - 2/3 - x = -1/6
1.5 - 0.66 - x = -1/6
0.84 - x = -1/6
x = -1/6 + 0.84
x = 0.68
so thats the no. we must subtract
so, 3/2 - 2/3 - x = -1/6
1.5 - 0.66 - x = -1/6
0.84 - x = -1/6
x = -1/6 + 0.84
x = 0.68
so thats the no. we must subtract

Solve the bracket (3/2-2/3)
Lcm=6
Make it like fractions
So 3/2 will become=3×3/2×3=9/6
And -2/3 will be= -2×2/3×2= -4/6
Now we have like fractions,that is 9/6 & -4/6
Solving 9/6-4/6 will be=5/6
Now as per the question
Let the no be x
So 5/6-x= -1/6
-x= -1/6-5/6
-x= -6/6
x=6/6
=1
Checking answer
5/6-1
Lcm=6
-1= -6/6
So 5/6-6/6
= -1/6
