what should teachers do if students not done homework ?

I think teachers should not spare the child.......if it had been given from a long time.

should give at least 2 days to complete the homework

First of all, the assignments should be in the syllabus, related to the syllabus.  Sufficient time duration should be given.  This is usually the case.

Teachers could reduce marks, give extra assignments, could make them sit in library and let them finish the assignments ...

Teachers could report to principal, and send a report to parents, if a student fails to do assignments in time repetitively.

Afterall assignments are meant for the improvement of students knowledge and that too should be gained by personal effort.  Students who did their assignments sincerely had progressed well in their careers.
 
   In any case in the report (annual) the details are mentioned regarding various aspects of performance in different activities, academic or non-academic.
