Crow is not as beautiful a bird as robin, nightingale, parrots, doves, sparrows, pigeons, etc. are; similarly, hemlock tree is poisonous and there are more beautiful trees in nature also such as pine, oak, teak, etc. The snow in the poem represents the bright side of nature.
