What will be the molarity of the solution obtained by dissolving 58.5 gram NaCl in 1000 mL of water ?

Answer: molarity=moles of solute/volume of solution

Moles of Nacl=Given weight/molecular weight

58.5/58.5=1

Hence molarity=1/1=1
