The similarities between time and the river are :

1.Time goes on going ahead and never stops. The river continues on its path and never stops even for a second. Both keep on going on without stopping anywhere.

2. Both teach man a lesson to do his work properly at the correct place. Both of them go on and do their work and do not distracted by any of the other activities going on around them.
